This morning in the courtyard of our bed and breakfast in Santa Fe.
In this city, St. Francis was everywhere! I loved the other sculptures and decorative art also. There were many benches and sitting areas around - a very well-planned city.
Our Pueblo Bonita B&B served breakfast at 8am. It was very good. We left Santa Fe and traveled on I25 and I40 through Albequerque toward Gallup.

We checked in at our bed and breakfast, the Bonita Pueblo. We had a good dinner at Tamasitas, then a very restful night at our bed and breakfast.

There were many street vendors, and Linda bought herself an azurite ring. Gwen and Linda toured the Georgia O'Keefe Museum, which had an exhibit also of Ansel Adams work. The two artists painted and photographed many of the same views and types of nature.

We walked around outside Loretta Chapel, and finally saw an elk. We ate lunch overlooking the plaza and toured some galleries.

After arriving in Santa Fe, we went through Loretta Chapel and the winding unsupported staircase.

These mosaics are in the courtyard of an old Catholic church in Chamaya. It was beautiful, and we went in and sat in the quiet sanctuary awhile.

The High Road to Taos (we took it from Taos) provided many views of the mountians and villages of New Mexico.
We passed through numerous Indian villages and stopped at a Navajo weaving shop.
The bottom picture is a fence made of old bed springs.
