After checking out we proceded on a long drive across the Hopi and Navajo reservations. We stopped at several villages, and took a tour of the old village of Walpai which sites on the end of a mesa (First Mesa). We had an 18 year old Hopi man as a walking guide. This was very interesting. After leaving there, we ate lunch at Keam's Canyon. On top of Third Mesa we found round rocks that split open and held sand inside.
